  • Compliance Officer
    Credit Adjustments, Inc, is seeking a Compliance Officer who will be directly responsible for providing strategic leadership, vision, and ongoing support to the business units regarding compliance best practices and trends. The individual is also accountable for developing, implementing and maintaining the company’s Compliance Management System. 

    The Compliance department performs governance and oversight functions of the compliance program including proactively working with business units to identify and escalate compliance risk within the organization and achieve strong compliance results and ratings. The compliance officer works closely with all lines of business ensuring effective, efficient and sustainable controls and procedures are implemented by the business lines. 

     Preferred Qualifications: 
     • Bachelor’s degree is required, Juris Doctorate preferred 
     • Prior Compliance Officer Experience is strongly preferred 
     • 5 – 7 years of Compliance Experience 
     • High degree of analytical skills; recognizes and responds appropriately to problems and challenges. Arrives at sound solutions through analysis and weighing of relevant facts. Uses good judgment in difficult situations. Understands and considers short and long term impact of decisions. 
     • Proven ability to work effectively within all organizational levels and departments to achieve desired results; the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

  • INTAKE OFFICER Toledo Municipal Court
    Conducts intake interviews with offenders referred to the probation department. Reviews conditions of supervision, collects information for the Ohio Risk Assessment System, conducts criminal record checks, provides auxiliary support to probation staff. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others in a demanding and fast-paced environment required. This is a permanent part-time position. This part-time position is currently funded through a grant to full-time. Continuing full-time status of this permanent part-time position is contingent on funding levels. Associates Degree or completion of 60 semester hours toward a Bachelor Degree in criminal justice, social work, counseling, psychology, or related field, required. One year probation or criminal justice experience preferred. Probation or criminal justice internship preferred. Interviewing skills and knowledge of the criminal justice field preferred. Must be LEADS certifiable. Start rate $16.445 per hour or $34,207.06 annually.
