    The University of Toledo College of Social Justice and Human Service Paralegal Studies Program

    Our ABA approved Paralegal Studies Program invites applications for a lecturer position. 
    Successful applicant must have Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school and have: 
    ability to teach a variety of Paralegal Studies courses; 
    knowledge about the paralegal profession;
    ability to use effective instructional techniques and innovative modes of course delivery adaptable to a variety of learning styles; 
    excellent and effective oral and written communication skills; 
    ability to interact with students of diverse backgrounds. 
    Experience using Blackboard and other online technologies and resources, as well as previous college teaching experience are a plus.

  • Chief Deputy Clerk/Administrator, Juvenile Court
    Lucas County Juvenile Court is seeking applicants for the position of Chief Deputy Clerk/Administrator. The Chief Deputy Clerk/Administrator is responsible for overseeing the operation and management of the Juvenile Court Clerk's Office.     The ideal candidate will possess the following skills / qualifications: 

    • Admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio
    • Minimum 2 - 5 years of plaintiff or defense personal injury practice
    • First chair jury trial experience (Litigation)
    • Insurance defense and/or prior claims handling experience is a major advantage
    • Results-oriented focus
    • Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of Needles case management software preferred
    • Excellent interpersonal and overall superior communication and presentation skills
    • Exceptional organizational skills
    • Superior negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure
